Durham & District

Welcome to Durham & District u3a

Durham & District u3a is a charity which is affiliated to The Third Age Trust, the national representative body for all u3as in the UK. The only requirement to join is that you are no longer in full-time employment. We have 332 members and 38 separate groups, so you are very likely to find something which interests you. Getting together with like-minded people can have major benefits for both mental and physical health.

Use the links and buttons on this page to explore our website. Use the Groups link to find out more details of individual groups, the Events link for events and the Calendar button below for an overview of what is coming up. If you need more information the best way to contact us is by email, using the Sanctuary knocker or the Contact link. If you like what you see come and join us, using the Membership link. Note the Calendar button may not work on the morning of the first Tuesday in the month due to a scheduled outage for maintenance.
