The Membership Year for Durham & District u3a is 1st April to 31st March.

Annual Subscription for 2024 is £11 per member.

Anyone joining October to January pays half Annual Fees. Join in February and March, full Fees for membership to the end of March the following Year.

There may be additional group costs to cover the hiring of rooms etc. Monthly general meetings have a £2 entrance fee which includes Tea/Coffee. Groups attendance usually costs about £2 per visit. Some groups such as Wine Tasting may be higher and some, which don’t need to pay for a venue, are free.

Your first two visits to a monthly meeting are free. These are held on the last Thursday of the month at Bowburn Community Centre, the Doors open at 1:15 and the meeting normally starts at 2:00. There is time to look at the Group notices and talk to the group leaders.
