Français amical (friendly French) is a group of friends who want to learn and improve their French. It has proved popular since it began and is now full.

We have varying abilities and use printed material, exercises, songs and games to aid discussion and learning.

We currently meet at the Gala cafe on Wednesday afternoons at 2 pm, for an hour and half or so, with people taking turns at coordinating the sessions. At the meetings we usually chat on a planned topic and do some reading/translation and occasionally look at grammar, pronunciation etc!
